Did you know? Use of pronouns

Did you know that in Brazil, it is common to use the pronoun at the beginning of a sentence in informal speech.

Example: “Me dá um pedaço do seu lanche?”

Meanwhile, in Portuguese from Portugal, it is much more common to use the pronoun after the verb.

Example: “Dá-me um pedaço do seu lanche?”

True! That’s really interesting.
Speaking of pronouns, I also noticed that in Portuguese from Portugal it’s common to say, for example, “vou deixá-lo amanhã” and in Portuguese from Brazil the construction “vou deixar ele amanhã” it’s way more common.
