EU Portuguese Pronunciation

I’m noticing that some words are pronounced how Brazilian’s pronounce the word. Example is de, do, etc. They are pronounced with a J sound but shouldn’t be for EU Portuguese. I’ve seen that in several videos that are marked as EU Portuguese. Anyone else?

That is true, there are many differences between both variants, written and spoken. But being in Brazil or Portugal, everyone will understand you really good no matter the accent you decide to use!

Just keep in mind that Brazilians usually have a slower pronunciation, in which both unstressed and tonic vowels are clearly pronounced. Portuguese usually leave out the unstressed vowels and emphasize only the tonic vowels.
