Same thing, different names!

Languages are an incredible thing. It can happen that the exact same thing has a different name in each Portuguese speaking country or even in different zones of the same country!
I would like to know how you call these things:


1- I call it “bergamota”


2- I call it “aipim”


3- I call it “pão francês”

In Portugal, very different names!!!

1 - laranja
2 - mandioca
3 - trigo

Even in Brazil, depending on de region, we also have different names!
I call it:
1 - Mexirica
2 - Mandioca
3 - Cacetinho

OMG! So many diverse names for these foods…

The first I call “mexerica”, the second “macaxeira” and the third is the classic “pãozinho”, which is more known as “pão francês” :laughing:
