What does 'Waidmanns Heil' mean?

Hello! I was watching the cooking show ‘At Our Neighbours Table’ (Zu Tisch) and I came across this German phrase: ‘Waidmanns Heil’. For context, the people in the show were talking about hunting. Does anyone know what it means? Thank you! :speak_no_evil: :hear_no_evil: :speak_no_evil:

It is a greeting among hunters, and it means like “good hunting” or “hunting luck”.
I remember when participating in skiing lessons, we used to say goodbye with the word “Skiheil” (good skiing). :skier:
